Just want to say to all that Migliores customer service is second to none.
I placed an order on the 29th of May and two weeks later I PM’d Don at Migliore for a tracking code from the U.S.
Unfortunately the order had gone unnoticed as they were moving shop and Don kindly offered to put a pot of Presidenziale wax in for free which is way above and beyond what any other company would do. Also posted it USPS Priority so I got it today.
If any of you are looking for a good sealant for dark and black cars, give Cima Sealant a try, its exceptional.

That’s pretty awesome! That appears to be a rather good one from a little bit of research

Thing is I’m not a waxer, I’ve always been a sealer but I’m going to give this wax a go.

Yeah, I remember you saying you are just a sealant kind of guy. But with one that nice why not right?
And if you still aren't into wax afterwards I guess I could take it off your hands haha:)

I’ll tell you what ViperGuy21. If I don’t get on with it, you can have it gratis. How’s that?
It was given to me gratis, so if I try it and don’t like it for what ever reason, you can have it.

I was actually kinda joking, but that’s very kind of you. I bet you will like it though.
Post up a review of it and/or pics of how it performs if you wouldn’t mind though! That should cure my curiosity haha

You seem like a decent young lad who enjoys detailing and I think you’ll put it to good use if I don’t.
I’ll try it in the next couple of weeks, weather permitting and see how I get on with it.

I really appreciate that
Hopefully I should be getting a GG6 DA in less than two weeks for my birthday and can’t wait to do a full machine paint correction!

If you can, get a scrap bonnet (hood as you guys insist on calling it, Lol) to practice on.
Remember the first rule of detailing, start gentle and work up to more aggressive methods.
What I like to call ‘first do no harm’.

Hey, I loved Top Gear so I actually use bonnet interchangeably with hood
Yeah, I asked my dad to swing by a junkyard at some point(he often has to go to them for work)and grab a hood or a door panel or a trunk lid or some sort of primarily flat panel with two stage paint.
I (hopefully) will be getting CG’s V-Line of polishes. Will probably test spot V36 and then go to V34 if it’s not enough. I like that saying haha

So what do you think of the new( ish) nano ceramic, hydro phobic sealants that have been coming out recently?

Ceramic sealants have been around for many years now and for a few years now its been possible for customers to be able to purchase and apply the product themselves. Ceramic coatings are great in that they last for years and offer a degree of scratch resistance, they take a bit more work to apply and many people think that once it’s on that they will look after themselves, like any coating it requires a degree of maintenance and some support in repelling water, etc...
I like to use more temporary but more easy to apply sealants such as Gtechniq C2v3.
Sealants such as CarPro Hydro2, Gyeon Wetcoat and EnvyCarCare F.A. have taken easy to apply sealants to a whole new level of ease to apply.

I have been thinking about trying one of them out. I have tried all sorts of waxes and polishes trying to get good water beading and flow off, but for the life of me, I just can’t seem to get it to last more than a couple of days. I have a bunch of sappy trees and they don’t make matters any easier.
Another question for a subject matter expert... are there any products that can help with a pitted windshield?

When you say ‘pitted’, as in heavy dirt build up and said sap from the tree? If you use clay, wet the windscreen and clean off as much of the dirt as you can then using a heavy shampoo to water mix or even clay lube will do, spray a small area and use the clay on a small area at a time feeling the resistance lightening and listening to what the glass is telling you. 0000 wire wool will do the same job, then use some degreaser and wash the vehicle. Most sealants that you’d use on a vehicle can also be used on the glass, even a wax will work as long as you correctly buff off any excess and residue.

Here’s a good video on various different tips and procedures for cleaning glass thoroughly. You don’t need to do all of them by any means but just what you see fit or what you think will work best for you.

It just started 5 minutes ago. 12:05 am here haha. Hopefully it goes well.
I’m planning on a nice free haircut, a free starbucks, some good detailing presents, doing a sea foam treatment for my car, and eating some darn good prime rib!
